I ordered a pack of $1.19 3×5 index cards from Staples on 8/10/07, expected delivery on 8/14/07. A calculator I ordered at the same time was delivered by UPS on 8/14/07 separately packaged. No such luck on the index cards, I didn’t realize I ordered the Flat Stanley brand. Current UPS estimate is 8/22 after taking an interesting route:

That’s totally insane, even for a hamehead! How much did it cost to ship that dollar set of index cards that many places?!!! It makes me want to find an even better (or would it be worse?) example of REAL hameheadedness in the business world…….hmmmm…..let me see…….
